The key duties of the position include The Role A well-organised executive office is crucial to the smooth operation of the Division. With limited supervision, you will support the Chief of Air and Maritime Division (AIRMAR). The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Executive Support team, supporting the Chief across all aspects of the role and daily duties, ensuring that they are briefed, prepared and able to meet all of their obligations and commitments. This will include calendar management, preparation of correspondence, organising meetings, arranging travel, coordinating briefing packs and managing office systems and records using Microsoft Office, Objective (the Department's document management system) and Financial Management Systems. About our Team AIRMAR is responsible for delivering innovation, science and technology (S&T) programs to enhance Defence capability in the Air and Maritime domains. We are the Program Delivery Office within AIRMAR, located at Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) Edinburgh and Fisherman's Bend. Our team is responsible for providing high quality business enabling services to AIRMAR, in supporting the delivery of DSTG and Defence outcomes. These functions include Information Records Management, Workforce Planning, Business Administration and Visit/Event Coordination.
