The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the reins of a landmark project from its early stages. You'll be instrumental in the successful delivery of a luxury hotel refurbishment, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the project meets the highest standards of quality, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the $300M ECI hotel refurbishment project from inception through to completion.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Ensure the project adheres to all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
Drive efficient communication and reporting across all project stakeholders.
Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep the project on track.
About You:
You possess extensive experience as a
Senior Project Manager
within the
Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction sector
.
You have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering complex, high-value projects, with specific experience in
hotel refurbishments
or large-scale commercial builds being highly regarded.
You are adept at managing
Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)
processes.
You are a natural leader with exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
You have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and relevant legislation.
You are commercially astute with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to project profitability.
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
