* Salary: $97,955 – $111,142 (Plus superannuation)

The Role
The Workforce Reporting Advisor's primary responsibility is to ensure that high-level workforce reports are provided to DJSIR internal clients in a consistent and timely manner. This role will review and enhance workforce data availability and provide accurate monthly and quarterly statistics in line with relevant DJSIR reporting directions. A key feature is to provide timely and consistent advice and responses to ad-hoc reporting requests.
The Workforce Reporting Advisor will assist with the preparation of all workforce reporting for distribution and support the Director People & Culture Operations with various reports, activities and projects as required.
Key accountabilities
* Enhance workforce data availability and leverage the application of such data through reporting and processes, whilst working collaboratively with key stakeholders to creatively develop options to support business requirements and associated workforce issues.
* Prepare concise communications, reports and other correspondence on a range of employment and workforce issues within tight timeframes including the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual workforce data reports, analysis and recommendations.
* Prepare regular standard reports submitted to the Department of Treasury and Finance, whilst collaborating with the Payroll Systems team to obtain data.
* Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders within DJSIR to enable coordinated, timely and consistent advice and responses to reporting requests, including the preparation of responses for the annual report.
* Coordinate the collation of data and the preparation of various high-quality reports providing accurate information on the DJSIR portfolio as per payroll system.
* Assist with the coordination of various workforce planning activities.
The Team
The position of Workforce Reporting Adviser will work within People & Culture Branch, which sits within Corporate Services Group. Corporate Services Group actively supports Ministers and portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. The group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems and capability. It comprises Financial and Property Services, Investment and Procurement, Information Services, Performance and Governance, Legal and Legislation and People & Culture Services.
People and Culture Branch is a multi-disciplinary team which operates within the Corporate Services Group of DJSIR. It is a strategic, tactical and operational function, supporting the achievement of the department's objectives by providing excellent service and trusted advice. It has a clear focus on adding value to the department by supporting the Executive Board to drive DJSIR's organisational culture through a range of strategies and initiatives.
About You
* Outstanding organisational skills and demonstrated ability to determine priorities and meet work demands in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines.
* Demonstrated experience in the application of Human Resources management to the analysis of workforce and organisational data.
* Advanced data analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to identify trends in workforce data in Excel and potentially PowerBI.
* Demonstrated ability to provide statistical reports in a range of formats to meet specific management and stakeholder requirements.
* Excellent communication and promotional skills to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
