As an Assistant Store Manager at Burson, you'll play a hands‐on role in leading day‐to‐day operations, driving sales, and motivating your team to perform at their best.
We're on the lookout for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support our Wangara branch. At Burson, you're never just a number—you'll be part of a supportive, close‐knit team working together to connect our people, our customers, and our business every single day.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers
* Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development
* Assisting with inventory control
* Maintaining store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH & S compliance
* Supporting the Store Manager
* Leading and supporting your team
Qualifications
* 2+ years experience within the automotive industry (desirable)
* Experience within retail and sales based roles
* Proven track record of working towards and achieving KPIs and budgetary targets
* Demonstrated experience in inventory and stock management
* Strong people skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support team members
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proficiency in time keeping, organisation and prioritisation of multiple tasks
* Sound analytical and problem‐solving capabilities
* Genuine passion for customer service and team engagement
* Positive, hands‐on attitude with a commitment to continuous learning
* Familiarity with relevant software platforms and budget management
