Company Secretary & Treasurer
Part time role, approximately 20 hours per month
We are seeking a practical and organised professional to support the Board in a dual Company Secretary and Treasurer role.
This position combines responsibility for financial coordination and oversight with administration of Board and committee processes. It requires confidence working with financial reports as well as maintaining accurate statutory records and governance documentation.
This is a paid Officer role and not a Director position. You will work closely with the Chair and Finance Committee Chair. Governance and Finance Committees are established and active.
Key responsibilities
Treasurer responsibilities
• Coordinate monthly financial reporting to the Board
• Monitor cashflow and maintain oversight of financial records
• Liaise with the external accountant and auditor
• Support preparation of the annual budget
Company Secretary responsibilities
• Maintain statutory registers and complete required ASIC lodgements
• Prepare and minute Board and relevant committee meetings
• Maintain accurate Board and committee records
• Support the orderly administration of Board processes
About you
• Experience working with management accounts and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of company secretarial and statutory requirements
• Experience supporting Boards or senior committees
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to operate independently with clear professional boundaries
