The Role
Duties
* Lead product development projects
* Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure compliance with specifications
* Collaborate with Marketing to define product requirements and specifications
* Design, build, test, and evaluate prototypes, releasing drawings for new and modified designs
* Ensure compliance with standards, approvals, and evolving regulatory requirements
* Prepare and maintain design documentation including technical specs, drawings, test reports, and bills of material
* Support Operations to reduce production costs and improve reliability, quality, and performance
* Assist Marketing with product manuals, installation instructions, and data sheets
* Represent R&D on cross‐functional project teams
Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineering degree or refrigeration trade with design experience
* Product design experience is a MUST
* Skilled in 3D CAD and MS Project
* Strong project planning and management abilities
* A team player with clear communication skills
* Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and efficiency
* Ambitious and ready to grow within the organisation
* Experienced in heat pump, air conditioning, or refrigeration design would be advantageous
