* Salary: $ 71,072.43- $ 73,287.41+ super + salary packing

About the role

* Support leadership and staff: Assist managers with recruitment, staff appraisals, training records, performance reviews, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
* Keep our systems on track: Accurately maintain rosters, payroll, and leave data (Kronos, QARS, Qualtrics, Hand Hygiene Australia), and generate reports on finance and quality indicators.
* Coordinate operations: Manage stock levels, purchasing, and equipment maintenance to ensure clinical teams have what they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
* Drive quality and improvement: Support audits, accreditation, and research activities, and help ensure compliance with hospital quality and safety standards.
* Be the communication hub: Manage meeting schedules, take minutes, liaise with Payroll, and assist with non-clinical communications across medical, nursing, and allied health teams


About you

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong initiative and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
* Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with a typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
* Experience in a healthcare setting, with a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients, carers and clinical staff — always maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
* Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with diverse colleagues and contribute positively to a supportive, high-volume clinical environment.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
