We're now looking for a Site Supervisor to lead our Clothing Store operations at Oakey Army Barracks. Here's What You'll Be Doing
Deliver high quality customer service by issuing kits, uniforms and equipment to Defence membersLead and supervise store staff, ensuring effective daily operationsConduct workplace inspections and maintain a safe and compliant work environmentReceive and inspect incoming stock, issue equipment, process returns and maintain product quality standardsManage inventory accuracy, stock levels and regular stocktakingMonitor, verify and report operational performance against contract and Defence requirementsEnsure compliance with Defence and Ventia policies, procedures and contractual obligationsAct as the escalation point for any on-site issuesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to regional consistency in service delivery
Key Skills & Attributes
Experience managing or supervising staffStrong computer skills, ideally with exposure to inventory or ERP systemsLogistics, warehouse or stores experience (Defence experience highly regarded)High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with Defence personnel and stakeholdersAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCurrent driver's licence and reliable transport to move around independently on base
