About the Role
This role is crucial in fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace environment.
The position provides professional advice and support primarily to ensure continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellness systems, programs, and performance, protecting employees, products, and the environment.
This position acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members on HSW matters, guiding the implementation of cultural systems and programs.
1. Develop leadership strategies with site management teams and stakeholders to enhance systems, site improvements, and plans.
2. Collaborate with site managers to facilitate core processes such as hazard management, incident investigation, injury management, and contractor management.
3. Manage service delivery of site hazard improvement plans, quarterly reporting, site inspections, and training.
4. Proactively review safety trends and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
5. Manage investigations of critical WHS events/incidents and prepare relevant reports.
About You
You will have proven experience in a similar role, demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, and AS4024, with a well-rounded communication style and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
* Effective planning and management of multiple tasks and deadlines from various stakeholders.
* Experience delivering HSW programs and initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
* Understanding of WHS and risk management principles.
* Diploma in WHE/OH&S or equivalent experience.
* OFA and RTW training.
* HSR training.
