In this role, you'll make a real difference by supporting children from the ages of 3 to 5 years of age, including those with a disability, so every child feels safe, included, and supported to grow.
Responsibilities
As an Additional Assistant, you will:
* Work as part of a kindergarten team under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
* Support children in their learning, play, and daily activities, tailored to their individual needs.
* Provide physical assistance (e.g., mealtimes, toileting, mobility support) with care and respect.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Help create an inclusive environment where every child is valued.
* Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and communication.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential).
* Experience working with children in educational or care settings (highly desirable).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
* A commitment to upholding children's rights, safety, and wellbeing.
Requirements
* Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
* Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
* Australian working rights.
* Driver's licence (if required for travel between sites).
