About the Role
We’re looking for a Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychology Contractor to join our team in Tweed Heads, NSW. This flexible contractor position is ideal for experienced rehabilitation professionals who are passionate about helping people overcome injury, psychological barriers and workplace challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychosocial and vocational assessments, intervention planning and rehabilitation support.
* Provide evidence-based counselling, adjustment support and return-to-work readiness services.
* Collaborate with insurers, case managers, employers and allied health professionals to achieve safe, sustainable outcomes.
* Plan and implement tailored workplace rehabilitation strategies with a focus on client-centred care.
* Manage a flexible contractor schedule and workload, with autonomy and professional support.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
* Are qualified in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology or a related allied health discipline.
* Hold relevant professional accreditation (e.g., ASORC registration) or AHPRA where applicable.
* Have strong experience in workplace mental health, vocational rehabilitation and counselling practices.
* Communicate effectively and thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
* Enjoy working autonomously and managing contractor referrals.
