About the Role

At Karndean Australia, we're seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to represent our premium flooring portfolio across Melbourne and the wider region. You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 architects, designers, and select end-users, while driving business growth and delivering exceptional client value.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established brand that is highly respected in the design and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop relationships with Tier 1 and 2 A&D; firms and Tier 2 and 3 End Users across key commercial sectors
- Generate and secure specifications, and retain them through the value management process
- Identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs
- Present and promote premium flooring products to specification partners and end-users
- Manage a project pipeline end-to-end, engaging all relevant stakeholders
- Achieve sales growth and meet or exceed targets through strategic account management
- Collaborate with sales colleagues and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction

About You

- Proven experience in B2B sales within the building and construction industry (flooring, finishes, or interiors experience highly regarded)
- Strong network and understanding of the architecture and design community
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and drive projects from specification through to completion
- “Hunting mindset” that gets things done and contribute to the growth of the business
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, commercially astute, and results-driven
- Tech savvy with existing and new technologies including MS Office, CRM and AI
