The company integrates social networking with travel services, creating a seamless booking experience for solo travellers, couples, groups, and families. With operations across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond, the organisation is rapidly expanding and provides interns with the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience in a dynamic and fast‐paced international environment.
Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved
Interns will gain hands‐on training across sales, marketing, communications, and events management. The role is designed to provide exposure to multiple areas of the tourism and travel industry, with responsibilities tailored to the intern's skills and interests. Training will include:
* Sales & Business Development – Prospecting and acquiring new customers, delivering engaging travel presentations, and building long‐term client relationships.
* Marketing & Communications – Designing and executing marketing campaigns, creating social media content, and coordinating promotional events.
* Travel Product Knowledge – Developing a deep understanding of tours, activities, and travel packages across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and beyond.
* Customer Engagement – Preparing quotations, tailoring travel itineraries, and providing personalised assistance based on client preferences and budgets.
* Events & Partnerships – Supporting event coordination, developing partnerships with organisations, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
* Digital Tools & Systems – Learning booking platforms, customer management tools, and marketing software.
Interns will be mentored by experienced professionals, with structured training in sales techniques, marketing strategies, and travel product knowledge. Regular feedback and guidance will ensure professional growth throughout the program.
By the end of the internship, participants will have developed strong communication skills, marketing and sales expertise, and industry knowledge within the tourism and travel sector.
