The program
The Meryl Williams Fellowship is a prestigious program supporting women in agricultural science across the Indo-Pacific to strengthen leadership, management, and career development. Through workshops, mentoring, collaborative projects, and digital engagement, the Fellowship helps build networks, advance gender equity, and contribute to more secure food systems.
The role
The casual Program Support Officer provides essential administrative, financial, and logistical support across the Meryl Williams Fellowship lifecycle. This meaningful role helps deliver a prestigious program supporting women in agricultural science across the Indo-Pacific. Working closely with Fellows, stakeholders, and service providers, you will manage records, coordinate events, support compliance checks, and assist with program materials and financial documentation. Key responsibilities
* Monitor the MWF inbox, respond to routine enquiries, and escalate more complex matters as required
* Liaise with Fellows to ensure required documentation is received throughout the Fellowship lifecycle
* Assist with coordination of in‐person and virtual events and activities, liaising with service providers as directed
* Support the preparation, formatting, and quality assurance of program materials, reports, documentation and deliverables
* Check eligibility and compliance of applications and professional activity proposals
Selection criteria
* Relevant qualification or progress towards a relevant qualification, such as adult education, public administration, international development, project management, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination, administration, customer service, or scholarship/fellowship program support
* Stakeholder engagement skills with experience building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Event and logistics coordination experience for in‐person and virtual workshops, meetings, or events (desired)
* Strong communication and administration skills including English fluency, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, online databases, and record‐keeping
* Personal attributes including teamwork, independence, confidentiality, initiative, strong judgement, service focus, and attention to detail
