We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, with a minimum of 2 years Australian industry experience, in either bridge construction, maintenance, or remediation, to join the WA team to work on upcoming projects based in both metro and country sites.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager you will lead the work onsite ensuring its delivery, on time and budget. Other responsibilities include:
* Coordinating materials and logistics, and supervising blue collar employees, and subcontractors.
* Completing reporting requirements in established systems to ensure productivity is managed and recorded.
* Liaising with client representatives over site-based issues, working towards effective resolutions.
* Ensuring best practices are followed in the areas of safety, health, environment, and quality, through the application of company procedures and project plans.
* Contributing to the success of client relationships, through work on projects and delivering quality work.
About You
This role would suit an organised person, with strong communication skills, looking to be part of an experienced and collaborative team. Key qualifications and skills required include:
* Full working rights to work in Australia.
* Minimum of 5-years' on-the-job experience, including 2 years Australian experience, in delivering civil projects, with a focus on bridge construction, maintenance or remediation.
* Trade background with Cert IV in Civil Construction.
* A basic traffic management certificate while not essential, is desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of and experience in supporting Workplace Health and Safety Principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with clients, project teams, team members, and contractors.
* Proven experience in managing staff and teams, supporting successful project delivery.
* Computer literate, with good skills in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook; and HSEQ software.
* Able to work independently and in a team environment.
