About the role

Full‐time professional Salesperson who is highly motivated, experienced and knowledgeable in alcoholic beverages. The position will be based in metropolitan Adelaide and will cover a territory of on‐premise and off‐premise customers, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

* Regular cold calling and prospecting as a key requirement for this newly created role.
* Perform regular call cycles – both physical calls and electronic communication – with accounts within the sales territory, including developing and managing the accounts.
* Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base through positive relationship building, understanding the customer profile and providing tailored product offerings.
* Grow the customer base through warm and cold leads, leveraging an existing network to achieve budgeted sales targets and continued growth above industry performance.
* Identify and secure new accounts within the geographical territory to add to the Alepat Taylor customer base and expand our reach.
* Develop, support and implement innovative sales strategies based on long‐term relationships.
* Support and implement brand and product promotional programmes.
* Collaborate with fellow Account Managers to share brand and product knowledge, drive sales growth and retain customer accounts.
* Provide regular reporting (using standard templates) on call visits, call cycles and sales outcomes.
* Promote, protect, develop and grow the Alepat Festival business as part of a winning team driven by sustainable growth.

What we are looking for

* Goal‐driven professional with strong ability to develop new and existing relationships across multiple accounts strategically.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Good understanding of the hospitality and beverages industry, ideally through previous sales experience with a sound knowledge across all categories.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team in a "better together" approach.
* Take ownership of allocated work tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
* Proactive, motivated and confident with a positive, can‐do attitude, demonstrating initiative and thinking outside the box.
* Existing network and relationships across on‐premise and off‐premise venues in Adelaide is valued but not critical.
* Exceptional personal presentation.
