THE ROLE
As our IT Manager, you will be at the centre of ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology environment. This is a hands‑on, operational role where you'll manage day‑to‑day IT support, oversee systems maintenance, and lead onboarding/offboarding processes while working closely with teams across the organisation.
Your technical insight, problem‑solving skills, and willingness to continually learn will be essential in supporting our inventory, sales, and production workflows and helping drive seamless business operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Own, maintain, and optimise all internal IT systems, devices, and user access.
2. Manage the full fleet of hardware including laptops, printers, label printers, scanners, tablets, and production‑floor technology.
3. Deliver timely troubleshooting and support across hardware, software, networks, phones, printing, and general IT queries
4. Lead new‑starter setup including devices, accounts, permissions, and training, and ensure clean, secure offboarding for departing staff.
5. Manage the IT budget and ensure alignment with organisational needs.
6. Uphold strong cyber‑security practices and contribute to the deployment and management of systems including DMARC, inbound email filtering, antivirus, and endpoint management.
7. Train employees in security protocols and support the development of security response playbooks
8. Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy.
9. Assist with system integration and workflow optimisation using tools such as MAKE
10. Manage user permissions, MFA, and access policies, ensuring compliance and security.
11. Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and data protection measures.
YOUR BACKGROUND
12. Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
13. Strong O365 administration capability.
14. Experience with ERP platforms such as Cin7 (advantageous).
15. Microsoft certifications (preferred).
16. Exposure to integration or low‑code tools.
17. Experience with B2B ordering platforms and maintaining transactional websites.
