About the Role
As a Risk Management Professional, you will drive technology operational risk excellence using an established framework. You will be supporting key stakeholders to ensure their risks are understood and well managed.
The management of technology services has been centralised, to drive efficiencies and to uplift delivery and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of professionals providing 1st Line technology assurance services.
* Manage capacity and priorities, ensuring that work is prioritised, backlogged, and addressed in line to demand.
* Track team performance and drive the operating rhythm.
* Provide assurance of quality and adequacy of risks, controls, treatments, events, audit items, etc.
* Produce risk reporting for committees/forums.
* Manage divisional compliance requirements such as annual attestations and risk profile refresh work.
* Take on risk/compliance related initiatives and drive them to completion.
* Use strong communication and presentation skills to connect with senior leaders.
* Enjoy providing guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members.
Requirements:
* Solid experience working in an assurance, audit, risk management or compliance-based role.
* Proven experience providing risk and assurance expertise to Technology based business units.
* Ability to tailor communication to audience, and in a simple manner which is easily understood by non-risk practitioners.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications relating to Information Technology.
* Good stakeholder management skills, with ability to build relationships and influence at executive level across Group Technology.
* Experience in understanding demand and priorities, leveraging skills and resources as appropriate.
