About the Position
In association with Grand Pacific Health (GPH), Hunter Primary Care is seeking Mental Health Clinicians to support the establishment of the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC) in Central Coast.
Mental Health Clinicians report directly to the Service Manager; and:
* Provide immediate intervention and support to consumers experiencing crisis or significant distress.
* Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine care needs and collaboratively develop care plans with consumers and their support networks.
* Deliver evidence-based psychological strategies to consumers, either individually or in group settings.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and external service providers to deliver integrated care.
* These roles are offered on a full time or part time basis, with remuneration commensurate with seniority of experience. Full time positions have ADO accrual available.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapist; or, accreditation with AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
* The ability to engage effectively with consumers and their families/carers to conduct assessments, coordinate care, and provide referral support.
* Proven skills in delivering holistic, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the capability to work independently when needed.
* A solid understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
