 
        
        We are looking for a Chef de Partie who has a passion for what they do and an eye for detail. You must have a fresh clean approach to plating and presentation of dishes. The role forms part of a energetic kitchen team and will require working knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and fresh seafood. 
Ramsgate Beach House is a licenced venue open 7 days for breakfast and lunch. The RBH Kiosk opens out on to the beach and promenade. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Ensure the quality of ingredients and dishes across the breakfast menu as well as assist with lunch service 
- Provide support to the Head and Sous chef with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation and plating 
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation 
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies 
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation 
- Liasing with head chef with food prep and menu planning with Managers, Dieticians, kitchen and waiting staff 
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures 
- Preparing and cooking food 
- Enforcing hygiene regulations 
- May help in training and staff hire 
- Ensure all haccp requirements met 
Requirements 
- Have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience 
- Hold all relevant and current industry certificates 
- Up to date knowledge of current food trends 
- The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure 
- Must have excellent communication skills, approachable manner and a strong customer service focus 
- Professionally presented and well groomed at all times 
- Available to work a 5 day roster including weekends and public holidays 
- Have full Australian working rights
