Amazon Leo is Amazon's Low Earth Orbit satellite network that will deliver fast, reliable broadband internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering connectivity to a wide range of customers, including individual consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
We are looking for a talented Senior Marketing Manager to lead B2C acquisition marketing on Amazon Owned & Operated (O&O) channels. This role is responsible for developing the B2C acquisition marketing strategy, launching campaigns, and optimizing performance across all Amazon O&O channels. We are looking for someone data-driven with a relentless focus on delighting customers and improving performance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in Amazon O&O marketing channels such as product pages, homepage, email, push notifications, onsite search, as well as other Amazon O&O video, audio, and display ad placements. You will lead automated marketing channels and drive website traffic, maximize gross adds, and improve the customer experience. You will test, build, automate, and scale O&O marketing initiatives. In this role, you will work with a range of technical and non-technical teams to build automated marketing technology, assess marketing capabilities, own the experimentation strategy, and undertake detailed performance analysis. The scope of this role focuses on delivering against key business goals, while also innovating and finding efficiencies through the development and management of a multi-year strategy and roadmap.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead the strategy, design, and execution of local marketing campaigns and ongoing management of O&O traffic channels for Amazon Leo's B2C business in ANZ and Japan
* Optimize subscriber acquisition across product pages, homepage, email, push notifications, onsite search, as well as other Amazon O&O video, audio, and display ad placements
* Apply deep and wide functional expertise to develop channel strategies and testing/experimentation plans.
* Conduct detailed campaign and channel performance analysis, leveraging data to optimize strategies, refine targeting, and improve performance. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to track KPIs, present actionable insights, and enable data-informed decision-making
* Champion automation, attribution measurement and scaled solutions, by influencing prioritization in tech roadmaps
* Stay current with Industry and Amazon best-practices to define and execute an innovation roadmap to delight customers and drive efficiencies throughout your area.
Basic Qualifications
* 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
* Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
* Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
* Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
* Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
* Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
* Experience in marketing subscription services; or Experience in Technology, Media or Telecommunications industry
