The CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales.
At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.
We are proud to have recently joined Harmony Australasia.
Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities.
In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project.
In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is currently preparing to progress the Execution Phase of the Eva Copper Mine Project in QLD.
These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane.
What we're looking for
We are on the lookout for a skilled Underground Jumbo Operator, a role vital to maintaining the high efficiency and safety standards of our drilling operations at CSA Mine.
Roster 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Key Responsibilities
Mastery in operating jumbo drilling rigs, focusing on safety, precision, and adherence to operational standards.
Proactive collaboration with technical and planning departments to execute drilling plans.
Routine equipment checks and basic maintenance, ensuring functional efficiency.
Detailed reporting on operational activities, supporting our continuous improvement ethos.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven expertise in underground jumbo operations, emphasising safety protocols.
Ability to interpret technical drilling plans.
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
