As an Educator at our Melton location - no two days are the same You will lead a team of legends and create unforgettable Before School and After School programs for primary aged kids. This is an exciting permanent part time role.
You will:
* Lead awesome activities like sports, cooking, arts and crafts and more
* Spark creativity, curiosity and confidence in every child
* Make every child feel safe, seen, supported and celebrated
* Support the Coordinator and collaborate with your team of legends
* Build connections with children, families and the school community
* Bring your ideas to the table, we love fresh thinking
Permanent Shifts:
Monday to Friday
Before school care: 6:45am to 9am
After school care: 2:30pm to 6pm
Total: 28 hours and 45 minutes per week
Don't forget about the split shift allowance and laundry allowance too
We are looking for someone who:
* Is enthusiastic, passionate and loves working with children
* Is reliable, committed to continuous growth and inspires joy in others
* Has experience in OSHC, teaching, sports coaching, school camps or any other role working with children
You have:
* Certificate III or higher in OSHC, community services, early childhood, allied health, or similar (or working towards it)
* Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willing to obtain)
* Great communication skills with both kids and adults
* Bonus points if you have worked in OSHC, camps or sports coaching
