The Package: $107,723.72 - $119,029.04 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025) plus a lease-back vehicle.
Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may be considered.
Council is seeking an experienced Transport Infrastructure Engineer to support the planning, delivery and contract management of transport infrastructure projects across our diverse urban and rural network.
In This Role You Will
* Applying sound engineering judgement to design reviews, technical assessments, and site issues.
* Preparing specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates and tender documentation.
* Ensuring work complies with relevant standards, legislation, WHS and environmental requirements.
* Supporting grant-funded projects, reporting and acquittals.
* Contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery and asset management practices.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
* Possesses a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with experience in roads infrastructure and contract management.
* Experience in contract management and contract administration within transport or civil infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of road engineering principles, construction methods and standards.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a complex environment.
* Well-developed communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
