About The Job
Danone is seeking a passionate and driven Demand Manager to lead our forecasting and planning efforts. In this permanent role, reporting to the Head of Demand & Customer Supply Chain, you’ll own the short-term demand plan and rolling 12-month forecast. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing to align on assumptions and deliver a robust Demand Review as part of the S&OP; process. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you’ll lead initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, reduce waste, and support outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate statistical forecasts using demand patterns, trends, and seasonality.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to generate a reliable demand signal that informs upstream supply chain planning.
- Lead demand planning consensus meetings and document key assumptions to support the S&OP; process.
- Own the delivery of the monthly Demand Review as a critical input to S&OP.;
- Partner cross-functionally to support product launches and manage phase-outs effectively.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance demand planning and decision-making.
- Contribute to system development and implementation initiatives to strengthen forecasting capabilities.
About you
You are a detail-oriented and collaborative planning professional with a passion for driving accuracy and efficiency. With experience in supply chain, FMCG, or manufacturing environments, you thrive on turning data into actionable insights and building strong cross-functional relationships. You’re analytical, proactive, and confident managing forecasts and influencing stakeholders. Your ability to balance customer service excellence with operational efficiency makes you a valuable contributor to a purpose-led organisation like Danone.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified, ideally in Supply Chain or a numerical discipline.
- Relevant supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS) are highly regarded.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supply chain role, preferably within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proven ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders.
- A proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and takes initiative to drive results.
