The Organisation
Our client is an industry leading organisation in Adelaide that continues to experience rapid levels of growth, and is looking to have a hard working Payroll Officer join their team as soon as possible. The role will be an initial 3 month position (with longer term potential), with the ability to work with a market leading organisation. There is excellent training and support provided to ensure you are able to continue upskilling your career within the payroll space, working among a collaborative team.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
o Assisting the team with processing payroll for 5,000+ staff
o Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets
o Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
o Working & interpreting a number of EBA's and Award
o Processing work cover, superannuation and payroll tax
o Efficiently handing payroll related queries
o Additional tasks to assist the broader team
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
o Prior experience within a similar payroll role
o Ability to work within a team environment
o Strong willingness to learn and grow
o High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
o Drive and desire to hit the ground running
