As a Workforce Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class event.
The AFC Women's Asian Cup is a prestigious tournament that brings together 12 nations in a competition structured into three groups of four.
* Operational Planning:
* Support the delivery of local workforce plans, training, and communications to ensure seamless execution.
* Assist with uniforms, catering, transport, accommodation, and workforce logistics to guarantee a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
* Evaluate and implement measures to maintain safe, inclusive, and consistent workforce spaces at venues.
* Workforce Systems & Technology:
* Maintain accurate workforce data in line with LOC processes, ensuring data integrity and transparency.
* Support rostering, accreditation alignment, and attendance tracking to optimize workforce efficiency.
* Provide basic system support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Venue Workforce Operations (Tournament Time):
* Coordinate daily frontline workforce operations, including check-in, breaks, and wellbeing initiatives.
* Serve as the primary contact for volunteers and program areas, providing clear direction and support.
* Manage roster changes, issues management, and workforce reporting to ensure effective communication.
* Training & Readiness:
* Coordinate local workforce training and venue-based briefings to equip staff with essential knowledge and skills.
* Support uniform and accreditation distribution and tracking to ensure timely availability.
* Assist with efficient information and resource distribution to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Accreditation, Transport, Technology, and Venues to foster a cohesive work environment.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
* Communications, Recognition & Engagement:
* Deliver targeted workforce communications and updates to keep staff informed and engaged.
* Support volunteer recognition initiatives and cultivate a positive workforce culture to drive employee satisfaction and retention.
* Knowledge Transfer:
* Capture valuable learnings from the tournament for post-event reporting and analysis.
* Contribute insights, data, and volunteer stories to inform future workforce planning and development.
