We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Payroll Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in the design, build, and deployment of a modern ERP solution focused on HR and Payroll functionality.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and document payroll processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and system requirements.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
* Assist in the design of compliant payroll solutions aligned with Australian regulations.
* Support test case development, UAT coordination, and issue resolution.
* Validate payroll data migration and integrations with other SAP modules and systems.
* Contribute to parallel payroll runs and post-go-live stabilisation efforts.
* Liaise with change and business readiness teams to support training and adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst focused on SAP Payroll, HR, or related enterprise systems.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP HCM sub-modules including Payroll, Time Management, PA, and OM.
* Proven experience in large payroll transformation or migration projects.
* Understanding of payroll outsourcing, regulatory compliance, and system integrations.
* Skilled in process mapping, documentation, and workshop facilitation.
* Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology preferred.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA) desirable.
