Family Practitioner (Part-time, 0.8 FTE) - Murray Bridge
This is a part-time position for a Family Practitioner to work in our Murray Bridge office.
About the Role
The Family Practitioner will provide high-quality clinical services to individuals and families in need, working collaboratively with other professionals to promote overall well-being and address specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
2. Provide therapy and support to clients, including one-on-one and group sessions, as needed.
3. Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
4. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
5. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
2. Relevant experience working with vulnerable families, particularly those with children at risk of developing mental illness.
3. Ability to work outside standard hours when required.
4. Current Working with Children Check clearance.
5. Valid Driver's Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, including one-on-one and group work.
2. Knowledge of Penelope client record management system.
3. Previous experience working in regional areas.
4. Background in community services and/or not-for-profit sector.
Working Conditions
This role requires occasional travel to rural communities and may involve working in an outdoor setting.
