We are looking for a driven and motivated Trainee Field Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Based at our Offshore Services Facility in Henderson, this entry-level role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain valuable experience and work towards a rewarding career in the offshore industry.
We will provide extensive internal training, as well as assisting you to obtain other relevant offshore qualifications and training, with the potential to undertake a further qualification for the right candidate.
Under the supervision of our experienced team, learn to operate and maintain AME's equipment and systems to become an efficient member of our Field Service team.
This role will also be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations at our Offshore Services Facility, undertaking varied and changing tasks including assisting with load outs and other facility operations, and assisting with our sister company, Green Monster.
Whilst this role is based in Henderson, the role will require travel - both local and international - based upon the operational needs of the business.
This role would suit an entry-level candidate with mechanical aptitude, a great attitude and an appetite for learning.
Requirements
* Full, unrestricted manual license;
* Strong work ethic with a commitment to workplace health and safety;
* High level of physical fitness with the ability to pass a fitness for work medical and drug & alcohol testing;
* Excellent problem solving skills and able to think outside of the box;
* Be a motivated self-starter;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team;
* Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;
Right to work in Australia is essential. Applications will not be considered without full working rights.
You will be asked to supply a Police Clearance for this role.
This role is based at our Henderson facility. If you are not based in Perth, please address relocation plans in your cover letter.
This is an entry-level role where training will be provided and paid for, and salary rates will reflect this.
