Fulltime position – 9am to 5pm Monday – Friday

About the role
This is a full-time opportunity at our warehouse in the Wollongong LGA. Working as part of a dedicated team you will be involved in the delivery of customers' orders and assisting in the warehouse.
You will be responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are managed appropriately. This includes receiving and dispatching of materials and electronically recording movement, loading/unloading trucks, using material handling equipment and ensuring storage conditions/standards are inspected and maintained.
Your positive and calm approach when faced with challenges, and ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to change, will ensure your success in a dynamic environment.
You must be prepared to work in a busy, fast paced environment and be willing to learn new skills and have versatility for different roles and responsibilities.
The successful applicant must demonstrate initiative, reliability and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As the Warehousing Storeperson/Delivery Driver, your role will include:
* Delivery of orders to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
* Prepare goods for dispatch with the appropriate documentation.
* Accurate checking and receipt of incoming stock
* Picking and packing of stock to external customers.
* Carry out stocktakes as required.
* Use of internal computer programmes.
* Maintain a high-level of housekeeping.
* Ad hoc duties (cleaning and general housekeeping) as required
* Working as part of a team and regularly communicating with internal and external personnel.
What we require:
* To be highly organised and possess great time management skills and the ability to multitask
* Well presented and physically fit as this role requires some heavy lifting
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* Current driver's licence is essential as is the ability to drive a manual vehicle
* Sound computer skills
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
* Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
* Must be motivated and have a great eye for detail
* Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading / unloading of trucks
* Picking and packing experience
* Warehouse experience
* Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
