NDIS Support Worker (Casual) – Kingslake & Surrounding Areas
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to provide in-home support to a client located in Kingslake and nearby suburbs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability.
Position Details
* Location: Kingslake, VIC (and surrounding areas)
* Days Required: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
* Hours: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (2 hours per shift)
* Employment Type: Casual
* Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support tailored to the client’s needs
* Assist with daily living activities (e.g., meal prep, light household tasks)
* Support community participation when required
* Promote independence, dignity, and choice
* Follow care plans and maintain accurate progress notes
Essential Requirements
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) (or willing to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* COVID-19 vaccination (as per current guidelines)
Skills & Attributes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathetic, patient, and respectful approach
* Ability to work independently and follow support plans
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Experience working with NDIS participants (preferred but not essential)
