Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring efficient operations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, and implementing repairs to extend the lifespan of our fleet.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with a strong understanding of diesel engines and associated systems;
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and diagrams;
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Valid driver's license with a good driving record;
* High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
