About the Role
This position involves leveraging financial accounting skills to deliver professional services as part of client or project teams. Responsibilities include:
* Executing and assuring quality across all financial reporting processes.
* Preparing high-quality financial statements and working papers.
* Advising businesses on appropriate accounting treatments under AASB standards, including preparing position papers.
* Preparing for and facilitating external audits and audit committee processes.
* Designing, monitoring, and improving accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
* Providing financial management advice to various stakeholders.

Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance.
* An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Experience in Big 4/mid-tier professional services firms or Commonwealth agencies is desirable.
* For Senior Accountant: 3+ years of experience, studying towards/achieved CA/CPA.
* For Manager: CA/CPA qualification and 5-8+ years of relevant experience.
* Ability to analyze and interpret data.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to serve clients effectively.
