Broadcast Engineer
A skilled Broadcast Engineer is required to manage mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events, execute changes and engineering updates, perform maintenance and troubleshooting, track equipment status, direct crew members, and provide on-site client service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
* Execute changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit.
* Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Track equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
* Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
* Provide on-site client service and technical support.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience operating a Broadcast Truck solo.
* Good understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
* Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable.
* Ability to work under time constraints.
* VSM or TFC knowledge and experience with IP Technology is preferred.
* Well organised and can prioritise work in order of importance.
* Positive attitude, ability to work to explicit deadlines, learn new concepts rapidly, and collaborate with colleagues for extended periods.
