About the Role
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to provide support to our client in Trafalgar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, enabling our customer to live an independent and holistic life.
The role will involve:
* Providing support with everyday activities around the home
* Assisting with hygiene and personal care
* Supporting activities outside the home environment
* Ensuring medication compliance
* Assisting with meal preparation
* Providing bowel care assistance
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker and possess the following skills and qualifications:
* NDIS Clearance
* First Aid Certification (valid for 3 years)
* CPR Certification (valid for 12 months)
* National Police Clearance
* Experience working with manual handling or physical disabilities
* A valid Australian Driver's License (minimum P2)
