What is the Challenge and Opportunity?
As a key member of the Operations Leadership team, you will be;
* Fostering and inspiring the culture evolution of a family-run business into a corporate feel with more structure, efficiency and discipline, by winning the hearts and minds of your team
* Overseeing the plant's operational efficiency, delivering on KPIs
* Utilising your strong commercial acumen to effectively manage a budget of ~$20m
* Empowering the team through safety, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, offering a voice to a diverse team of around 18 techs running a 7 on, 7 off roster, days and nights
Is this role for me?
Your experience will demonstrate:
* A trade or technical tertiary education, alongside a minimum of 5 years' experience in FMCG Maintenance management
* A pragmatic and adaptable leadership approach with the ability and experience of affecting culture change
* Strong commercial acumen, accountable for the P&L and bottom line, based on your decisions around spares, stores, preventative maintenance, CAPEX and recruitment
* Sound technical understanding of Automated technology in a fast-paced environment
