Lead the protective security capability within the Olympic and Paralympic Games Group and provide direction, guidance, and advice on operationalising identified security risk mitigation recommendations.
Provide high quality verbal and written briefings to Senior Management on complex security planning functions, specialist operations and strategic risk assessments to inform executive level decision-making.
Research and identify issues, and report on challenges and recommended solutions associated with the implementation of security risk mitigations.
Develop and administer relevant security risk assessment and mitigation methodologies to inform police operational planning for Olympic and Paralympic Games venues and events.
Research, develop, review, and deliver presentations, exercises, and training to inform government and games stakeholders on the implementation of recommended contemporary risk mitigation approaches for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Effectively engage, negotiate, and elicit crucial support from stakeholders including state and federal government agencies guaranteeing the successful delivery of the Olympic and Paralympic Games policing operation.
Represent the QPS at internal and external forums, to ensure the provision of high quality operational and protective security advice for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
