We seek a skilled Smallgoods maker/Butcher with experience in smallgoods production and a passion for flavour.
Responsibilities:
* Assess, portion and package meat for sale.
* Cut meat into portions.
* Marinate, season and cure special cuts.
* Trim meat for further processing.
* Tie salami with string.
* Prepare meat to produce smallgoods.
* Fill sausages using a sausage-filling machine.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Industry certification (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years' experience.
* Knowledge in smallgoods making.
* Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
* High attention to detail and an ability to learn and work within defined time frames.
* Punctuality and reliability.
This is a full-time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings.
