We are seeking a motivated individual to join us at our clients' mine site in NSW. As a vital link between the Technical Services and Mine Operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless coordination and fostering positive relationships.
About the Role:
As a Mining Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and delivering safe and efficient drill and blast plans.
2. Daily monitoring, recording, and optimization of production progress.
3. Managing on-site contractors and assisting supervisors in the day-to-day running of the mine.
4. Conducting mine process and business improvement studies.
5. Actively participating in team activities, meetings, and initiatives.
6. Assisting the Senior Engineer in establishing and implementing safe working practices.
7. Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to mining activities.
8. Committing to maintaining health, safety, and security standards within the workplace and identifying potential risks.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Tertiary Engineering Qualifications, preferably in Mining.
* Experience in Coal Underground Mining.
* Proficiency with mine design software.
* Results-focused mindset with a strong ability to implement successful change.
