About the role
The Partner Product Team is responsible for delivering and iterating on products that complement the Australian home loan journey. These products span across General Insurance (Allianz), Asset Finance (Platform Finance), My Protection Plan (ALI), Deposit Bonds (Deposit Assure), and Aussie Conveyancing (Settle Easy). In addition, the team develops capabilities to expand our partnership platform, enabling brokers to do business with third-party providers.
This role also involves overseeing the integration of new lending products, as well as enhancements to existing ones. Two recent examples include Aussie Bridge (powered by Bridgit) and Aussie Boost (coming soon).
As a Product Manager, you will work within a cross-functional team including Design, a Team Lead, a Business Analyst, Quality Analyst and Engineers. You’ll drive product discovery, delivery, and ongoing iteration, owning the end-to-end experience and outcomes for the partner product portfolio.
This role requires strong stakeholder and third-party partner management skills, governance oversight, and the ability to prioritise initiatives based on business impact and ROI.
This role will be based in Sydney where you will work 3 days a week in our modern, vibrant office and 2 days per week from home.
Job Description
We are looking for a customer-focused and commercially minded Product Manager to help us deliver the world’s best digital home ownership experience through high-value partner integrations and product initiatives.
You will take ownership of specific partner and lending products, balancing internal platform needs with external third-party expectations. You will manage product roadmaps, delivery, prioritisation, and sequencing while navigating a complex stakeholder and compliance environment.
* Shape the short-term and long-term product strategy and roadmap for partner and lending product integrations
* Become the Subject Matter Expert on assigned partner products including General Insurance, Asset Finance, My Protection Plan, Deposit Bonds, Conveyancing, and Lending Enhancements
* Manage external partner relationships and product governance processes
* Evaluate opportunities and initiatives based on ROI, effort, and customer impact
* Work with internal stakeholders including Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Lender Partnerships, and the Centre of Excellence
* Collaborate with Design and Engineering to define product scope and deliver high-quality, high-impact features
* Scope requirements and user stories in a build-ready format for engineering
* Oversee end-to-end product releases including stakeholder communications and training
* Apply data-driven decision making to inform prioritisation, development, and iteration
* Support discovery, research, and testing to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
* Ensure partner and platform products comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
* Contribute to creating simple, intuitive UX and UI in complex product flows in collaboration with Design
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in Product Management, this is a great opportunity for an associate level PM to step into a PM role
* Experience working within Home Loans, Financial Services, or Banking environments (preferred but not mandatory)
* Proven track record of owning and delivering digital customer journeys, preferably involving third-party integrations
* Skilled in managing complex stakeholder relationships and external partnerships
* Strong experience working with Design and Engineering teams to scope, deliver, and iterate on products
* Ability to write detailed, tech-ready user stories and ensure product completeness from inception through release
* Proficient in data analysis, consumer funnels, and interpreting success metrics
* Experienced in prioritising product initiatives based on ROI and strategic impact
* Comfortable with governance responsibilities, stakeholder communications, and compliance alignment
* Highly delivery-focused and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
