Why join the business: Our client is a well-established and progressive manufacturing organisation. They manufacture, assemble and commission high quality agricultural equipment in Toowoomba. They are seeking a Payroll & Accounts Officer who has a high level of professionalism, communication skills and discretion, to work with their staff, their accounts system, as well as their clientele and suppliers. About the role: Reporting through to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: Processing weekly payroll; Liaising with employees if they have questions about their employment; Maintaining employee and customer files; Preparation of monthly payroll journal and relevant reconciliations; Post cash receipts in the company software daily and prepare the daily cashflow report; Maintain the bank reconciliation within the software; Process Sales Orders; Post invoices electronically and/or via mail; Process returns and credit notes; Follow up with customers on overdue accounts; Assisting with WorkCover claims; and Back up reception tasks. About you: To be successful in the role, you will have the ability to have meaningful and factual conversations with staff regarding payroll as well as clients/customers re their accounts, whilst remaining professional and empathetic. A solid understanding of payroll and general accounts is essential. This role can be done in 25 hours per week however, we are open to discussing variations on this. How to Apply?
