LMATS is a NATA ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 accredited Australian engineering and industrial testing and inspections company. We have a highly skilled team of Metallurgists, Engineers, Technologists, Inspectors, and NDT personnel. LMATS provides effective laboratory and on‐site solutions for clients that meet regulatory requirements and deliver critical asset integrity information.
Role Description
The successful Business Relations Manager (BRM) is a friendly, commercially oriented people‐person who will:
* demonstrate LMATS values (see our website)
* understand and implement LMATS strategic and growth plans
* foster excellent client relationships
* proactively contact leads by phone, email, and through industry events
* develop a working knowledge of all aspects of the business so you can find up‐selling and cross‐selling opportunities
* identify and pursue new growth opportunities
* stay current with industry, engineering and market trends
* collaborate with internal engineering, inspection, lab & NDT teams to ensure client satisfaction
* manage tenders, EOIs and RFQs, including scope clarification, pricing inputs and commercial review
* prepare, review and analyse pricing models, schedules and tender documentation using Excel
* undertake contract reviews
* support marketing and business development initiatives
* meet KPIs, including branch sales targets and weekly in‐person client meetings
* follow instructions from the branch manager, strategy and growth manager and directors
This is a full‐time role based in Perth, WA, requiring regular travel within the Perth metropolitan region.
Qualifications

* Comfortable in a fast‐paced, technical services environment
* Strong proficiency with Excel & Microsoft 365 and cloud‐based software, particularly for tender documentation, pricing calculations, customer relationship management (CRM)
* Familiar with NDT, engineering, materials testing and inspection market
* Ideally 4‐6 years' in business development or client relations within an engineering, industrial or technical services environment
* Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science or similar is a plus
