Senior HR Business Partner - Western Port Manufacturing
BlueScope is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based in Hastings, VIC, to work closely with manufacturing leaders on the Western Port site.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Business Partnering: Translate enterprise-level people priorities into clear actions, providing commercial advice across performance, capability, culture and risk consistent with strategy.
* Workforce Strategy & Change: Lead workforce planning and organisational design; partner from business case development through delivery of change programmes aligned to enterprise frameworks.
* Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage ER/IR matters including disputes, conduct issues, investigations, union engagement and support EA negotiations; build leader capability to manage performance and conduct.
* Leadership & Culture: Coach and support leaders to enhance people leadership capability and foster an inclusive, safe and engaging workplace that drives retention and performance.
* Governance & Risk: Ensure consistent application of employment legislation and policies; oversee people decisions and enhance leader capability in managing people risk and compliance.
* People Insights: Own and interpret people metrics to provide actionable insights for the portfolio.
Qualifications
* Degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
* Significant experience in HR Business Partnering within a complex workplace.
* Strong knowledge and application of employment legislation and industrial relations practices (including exposure to EA negotiations).
* Exposure to workforce planning, change and organisational development.
* Effective influencing, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
