Project Manager Defence Infrastructure
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary planning, design and delivery services across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Our team provides support for defence, defence industries and federal government related infrastructure projects. We work closely with clients to deliver strategic infrastructure investments backed by industry experts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing or managing project plans and schedules using Primavera, MS Project or similar.
* Identifying risks and cost variations and proposing corrective or mitigation strategies.
* Maintaining project cost estimates and budgets.
* Preparing and analysing cost reports and forecasts, resource planning and progress reports.
* Developing cost control policies, procedures and reporting standards.
* Coordinating stakeholders in support of schedule planning and alignment.
* Using quantitative data to support client project teams making informed decisions.
* Performing on-site reviews to assess key processes and controls.
* Contract administration and commercial management processes on projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in project environment on defence or complex infrastructure programs or projects.
Skills and qualifications may include:
* Consulting and/or advisory experiences in Project Management consultancy, Head Contractor, Construction management or within Big 4.
* Experience working with and monitoring project schedules, costs estimates, resources and finances systems and processes across a project lifecycle.
* Delivery risk from an owners' team perspective.
* Industry planning, cost and project management software systems.
* Tertiary qualifications such as Project Management, Engineering.
* Membership and certification with Australian Institute of Project Managers (AIPM), Engineers Australia or similar.
* Proficiency with industry-standard estimating, planning and project management software.
* Ideal Defence clearance (NV1) or ability to obtain.
