Senior Conservation Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Conservation Officer to lead our team in the Eyre and Far West Region. As a key member of our conservation team, you will be responsible for supervising a group of Rangers and developing, planning, and implementing national park and conservation programs.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in effectively supervising a team and fostering a collaborative environment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with volunteers and other stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of conservation land management principles and practices, including wildlife conservation and pest plant and animal control activities. You will also need to have experience in developing, planning, and managing projects, as well as knowledge of systems available to maintain public amenities and serviceability of mechanical plant and equipment.
The role requires a current class 'C' driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD. Intra and inter-state travel is required, including extended periods away from home and travel in light aircraft. A Provide First Aid Certificate is highly desirable.

Requirements:
Australian citizen or permanent resident;
Current class 'C' driver's licence;

Provide First Aid Certificate (highly desirable);
National Police Check;
Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC).
Remuneration: $76,561 min - $80,258 max p.a., pro rata for part-time hours.
