Responsibilities
* Prepare and plate brunch dishes to a consistent, high standard
* Supervise menu preparation and daily service flow
* Assist with development and execution of new menu items
* Manage stock ordering and inventory control in line with SOP
* Maintain strict kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
* Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
Requirements

* 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role
* Expected salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a cafe or brunch environment is an advantage
* Strong Chef de Partie with proven ability and readiness to step up to Sous Chef will be considered
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* High attention to detail and organisational ability
* Ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods
* Availability for daytime shifts including weekends
* Current Food Safety Certificate preferred
