An opportunity exists for a proactive and energetic Health & Safety Business Partner to join our national Health and Safety team, supporting our Asphalt business which supplies high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects.Reporting to a Business Unit General Manager and Head of Business Partnering Health and Safety, the primary focus is to support the NSW Asphalt business, ensuring that unit level issues are understood, controls are implemented and compliance and assurance measures reviewed.
Working closely with the frontline, this is a key role in delivering alignment between operational risks and health and safety controls and will enable safety improvements and standardisation of processes across asphalt manufacturing sites, spray seal depots, and mobile operations.
A central part of this role is to build an intimate understanding of operations and forge strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver positive safety outcomes.
