Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Chef at RAAF Williamtown. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys bulk cooking, supporting lunch and dinner service, and occasional functions, while working within a small, supportive team.
The Position
* Full-time lunch and dinner chef role, with occasional functions
* Five-day roster with weekend rotation (predominantly Sunday–Thursday, TBC)
* Evening shifts finishing at 7:30pm, with no split shifts or late nights
* Work within a small, supportive kitchen team at RAAF Williamtown
* Stable, predictable roster supporting strong work-life balance
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for lunch, dinner and functions
* Maintain food safety, OH&S and HACCP standards
* Support inventory management, stock control and cold room checks
* Deliver consistent quality, presentation and service
The Person
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Previous experience in commercial kitchens with bulk cooking & A La Carte
* Sound knowledge of HACCP, allergen management and food safety
* Passion for quality, presentation and teamwork
* Reliable, organised and safety-focused
