The Audit division at HLB services a wide array of clients across multiple industries such as financial services, freight forwarding, not-for-profits and charities, technology, and construction. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and executing assurance and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis and risk assessments.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
* Review client control environments, including a detailed review of client IT operations and systems.
* Utilise and apply AI‐driven automation tools to assurance fieldwork testing procedures and collaborate with senior staff to further enhance these auditing resources.
* Collaborate with senior team members to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
* Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Work onsite at various client offices gaining a firsthand look at client operations and engaging in face‐to‐face contact with staff.
What We're Looking For
* A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A proactive and motivated approach to work.
* Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
* Commitment to achieving the Chartered Accountants qualification.
